1930, the Netherlands
This modest desk is a versatile piece of furniture, which can have a purpose in many places in a house: in a hallway, with storage space for the gloves, in the living room to get some administration done, or as a table in which you can leave your sewing machine. You will already have given it a spot in your house if you are charmed by the looks of this piece of furniture.
The table is 76 cm high, 80 cm wide and 54 cm deep. It has a relatively deep drawer and on the side a cupboard where you can place shelves if you wish. This cabinet with drawer is 31 cm wide and 54 cm deep, just like the table top.
Under the writing surface is a compartment where you can store envelopes for example. And then there's the fantastic extendable leaf, which can be pulled out approx. 35 cm, increasing your work surface substantially.
Maybe you're also charmed by how this table is presented, with the lamp with fabric shade? Then it is good to know that this desk lamp will also be included in an Art Deco auction very soon.
It is in excellent condition and has a transparent wax.
This piece of furniture cannot be shipped. If you have the winning bid, you’re welcome to pick it up in Amersfoort where it is stored!
Good luck bidding!
