St-Émilion, grand vin de Bordeaux, in OWC straight from my climate controlled wine cellar. Top vintage 2009
|Bottle size:||Standard (0.75L)|

Château La Grande Barde ( from Chateau Haut saint-Georges)
2009 is an EPIC VINTAGE for Bordeaux wines. The wooden cases were never opened.
This wine, with its deep purple red colour, develops a very aromatic nose with fine fruit notes of cherry, raspberry and cassis.
It's an elegant wine with a lot of young red fruit and a light touch of wood. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels.
The wine's availability is very limited. 30,000 bottles/year.
82% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec
This is an excellent storage wine. 20 years or longer (see Vivino or Wine Searcher for price/investment advice).
This wine is gradually becoming ready to drink, but can also be stored for a long time to come and will only improve.
Robert Parker: 90/100
Silver at the Concours du Mondialles Bruxelles.
The wine is unfiltered, which adds power and depth. In short, a real top notch Bordeaux! The wine should be decanted before consumption.
The wine has always been stored in my climate controlled cellar.
So it's in top condition.
3 wooden cases of each 2 bottles = 6 bottles in total (750 ml).
