La Murrina - Murano Island, Venice Pair of Murano glass table lamps, 1975. In very good condition (antique). Handmade by master glass makers using a technique called "granigliato" (shot blasting) with gold powder. The thickness of the blown glass is as little as 1 cm! The setting is satinised gold-plated. Both of the lamps bear the signature and hallmark of authenticity (see photos). The lamps are in working order (bulbs are not included). The gold plated base of one of the lamps is slightly tarnished (see photos). Measurements: Height: 40 cm Width: 22 cm. Thickness of glass is as little as 1 cm Lamp weight (x 1): 1.350 kg
