RARE GENUINE KIM-THANH GOLD LEAF IN ORIGINAL WRAPPER

THIS VERY RARE GOLD BAR COMES WRAPPED IN A WAX RICE TYPE OF PAPER WITH VIETNAMESE WRITING ON IT. THERE IS A LOT OF HISTORY BEHIND THIS GOLD BAR.
FAMOUS THROUGHOUT SOUTHEST ASIA BEFORE AND DURING THE VIETNAM WAR, THESE BARS WERE USED BY REFUGEES FLEEING VIETNAM AND CAMBODIA TO ESCAPE THE COMMUNISTS. MANY REFUGEES ESCAPED BY BOAT, SAILING INTO THE SOUTH CHINA SEA IN HOPES OF BEING RESCUED BY THE U.S. NAVY, EARNING THEM THE EPITHET OF "BOAT PEOPLE". A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER HAD TRANSFERRED THEIR LIFE SAVINGS FROM CURRENCY TO KIM-THANH BARS, SOME EVEN SEWING THEM INTO THE LINING OF THEIR CLOTHING, TO KEEP THE GOLD SAFE,  AND TO HELP THEM REBUILD THEIR LIVES ON FOREIGN SHORES.


The value of this bar/leaf has been appraised and it has been tested for authenticity.

We are approved professional sellers, you can retrieve your item at our office (5 min from Disneyland Paris, at Marne la Vallée)

This item will be well-packaged and shipped via registered mail with insurance and acknowlegment of receipt.
