This is an original Cavern club membership medallion from the 1960s. These medallions were briefly introduced as an alternative to the Cavern club membership cards, but soon after they reverted back to using membership cards, as they were cheaper to produce. In 2008 the last owner of the Cavern club, Roy Adams discovered a box full of original medallions stored away in his shed(see news article), this is one of those medallions. In very good condition comes with information about the medallion and a letter of authenticity from the militaria/ coins and medals dealer who bought them at auction. with original leather cord.
