Henk Helmantel (1945)
Gorgeous flower still life depicting a pewter vase with almost faded tulips 1966 by the famous Groninger artist Henk Helmantel.
The work was purchased in April 1998 from the family who had bought the work in 1966 from Helmantel.
Because Helmantel's signature had changed over the years, he was asked to sign it again on the back shortly before the purchase by the vendor.
The work is in excellent condition.
Size: 73 x 60 cm.
Size including the frame: 88 by 75 cm.
