In 1998, the Maserati Quattroporte Evoluzione was released on the market, short after Ferrari had taken over management. The Quattroporte was the start of a successful future of the Italian brand. The design of the Quattroporte IV comes from the design firm of Marcello Gandini in collaboration with Maserati, this is unique. It has a Twin Turbo 3.2 litre V8 with 336 HP (Ferrari engine block). This produced a top speed of 280 km/h and a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in about 5.8 seconds.
