20th century - copper French historical Napoleon symbols.
Two Napoleon 2nd Empire Eagles.
These eagles are from the 20th century and originate from France.
In a decree of 1804, it was mandated that the golden eagle should be depicted on the coat of arms of the Emperor.
Napoleon also placed an eagle above the top of every flag of his army.
In the Roman times, they already symbolized victory. Hence Napoleon’s choice.
Both eagles are shaped in 3D relief.
They both have the size of 14 x 11 x 3 cm.
Their weight is over 880 grams each!
