LEGO set 700/5 - First Dutch LEGO set still in original box - 1957 - rare!
After Denmark (1949), Sweden (1950), Norway (1953) and Germany (1956) it was The Netherlands's turn in 1957 to get acquainted with the LEGO system via the 700 basic set. This 700 set was issued in 8 different sizes, each with the same 3 children (grandchildren of founder Ole Kirk Christiansen) on the front of the box.
In this lot the 700/5 set is offered. The box size is 19.5 x 18.5 cm. Apart from some small cracks on the side the box is still in good condition. According to me the content of the box is complete, but unfortunately I can’t quite guarantee that for 100%. The LEGO bricks are still in "mint" condition. The brochure is no longer available.
Within the Netherlands the lot will be shipped via regular mail with Track & Trace. Will be shipped by registered mail abroad.
In short: An unique collectors item for the true collector of the old original LEGO.
