This is a hand-knotted Sarough rug, made of durable natural materials.
Imperfections in the patterns and shape make this carpet unique and emphasise its authentic and traditional character.
Sarough (or Saruq) is located in the western part of Iran.
Sarough rugs are made of high-quality wool on a cotton warp (bobbin thread).
The wool is known for its shine.
The knotting technique makes the rug extra strong.
Sarough rugs are excellent for regular use and have a high durability.
This is a used rug which has become more beautiful and richer in character due to the natural ageing process.

Beige, cream, green, yelow, brick red and blue shades.
Lots of nap, rich shine.
