Nkisi Kozo dog statuette from Congo with a glass above the head ( and two seeds inside). A fetish said to hold great power in its body to protect individuals.

A nail would be hammered into the statue for each wish, both for personal use and for ceremonial use by the soothsayer-healer Nganga.
These statuettes were used to stay in good health and solve problems.
Made of wood, nails, red textile, mud offerings (a mixture of clay and plants), pieces of glass above the head with two seeds behind ( see pictures), metal chain. Sacrificial remains.
