Ca. 1925, Netherlands
This oak mirror is in the Amsterdam School style. The facet cut mirror is virtually not worn, totally intact and original. The spots that are present, are amply reported of in the photos.
Often such a mirror hung above a crezenda or in a hallway. If you are charmed by this tight yet playful design, you may already have a place in mind where this mirror would fit perfectly.
This mirror is one of the more luxurious models: the decorations with coromandel are massive, the very thick veneer of more than half a centimetre is usually only seen on the more expensive furniture. The generous size of this mirror is also striking.
The mirror is in maintained condition, old wax layers have been removed and has now been polished with clear wax.
The dimensions are: 100 cm x 73 cm.
