A beautifully coloured and rare Orchies majolica cache pot / jardiniere from the well known Orchies faiencerie in the north of France and made in 1920. The design of artfully coloured trumpet flowers or datura on a green background which merges lower down into an almost black base. An eye catching and very attractive piece. The Orchies stamp is impressed on the bottom with the stamp for 1920 and with the numbers 603
In very good condition.
Height :16.5 cm. ( 6 1/2" ), the top's diameter is 21 cm. ( 8 1/4" ). Inch measurements are approximate.
