Tobias Grau - George Floor Lamp , Lot 2.

This floor lamp is meant for direct or indirect light with its light reflector sail and special lense to create the perfect setting in any space. Tobias Grau is known to never have used traditional light bulbs since LED lights are used for better power economy and produce an almost similar warm light. Less heat proves also to fit the various practical applications he imagines in the design process, whether it over the dining table or on a night stand. New original fresnel lense and a new 70W bulb has been installed. Tobias Grau started his work as an independent designer in Hamburg in 1984 with interior and design works for smaller firms and fashion shops. From the first lighting collection, presented in 1987 under its own name at the ‘Imm Cologne’, the designer has received many awards. For this particular lamp he received ID Magazine New York 1998, International Design Yearbook 1997 and Prix Lumiére Paris – Mention Spéciale 1997. Weight 7kg, height 160cm, voltage range 220-240 V, housing material pc-glas, dismountable.
