Splendid camera Voigtländer Vito C, 1960
Splendid Voigtländer Vito C camera in excellent condition and perfectly functional, with its original leather case. Year of production 1960, high quality lens mount “Voigtlander Lanthar” with focal length of 50mm, diaphragm with aperture of f/2.8 a f/22, shutter speeds 1/30 to 1/250 plus Bulb and self-timer with external flash.
Voigtländer is one of the world's oldest brands of photography along with Zeiss and Leica and has a prominent role in the history of photography. Created in Vienna in 1756, the company took its name from its founder, Johann Christoph Voigtländer, the mechanics are among the quietest ever while the lens is renowned for the extraordinary photographic quality and particularly saturated colours that only the Voigtländer optics knew how to give.
Don't let this camera fool you with its simple appearance. This is not one of the many fixed-lens compact cameras but a real gem. I can assure you that few cameras, including SLRs, manage to match the image clarity and colour brilliance of the Voigtländer lenses.
