14 kt / 585 gold Freemason's ring Masonic 32nd degree "Master of the Royal Secret" + blue diamond weighing 0.52 ct., circa 1940

Original Freemason's ring with mystical motif: a so-called double eagle acts as the relief decoration of this ring. The eagle with 2 heads is the icon of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry (A.A.S.R. = Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite) or also Scottish Rite Fraternal ring. The double eagle has a beautiful and detailed design with openworked elements between the heads and underneath the wings. The ring is made of solid 14 kt / 585 gold and fully solid at 11.86 g. Under the eagle is a ray-shaped motif, the grooves of which are filled with black enamel, in order to highlight the rays even more clearly. The enamel is no longer totally intact on this old ring. It could be filled in again. But like this it is original and this is evidence of its old age. Inside the ring has the maker's mark "L&V" and has the initials of the Freemason Master "M.H.K." in old, curved script. "14K" is likewise hallmarked. Origin could be America. The ring bears a triangle on the side in which the number "32" is engraved. This signifies the 32° of the Freemason's Lodge. This is the 2nd highest degree achievable in the hierarchy of the Freemason and is given the title of "Master of the Royal Secret" some also translate it as "Prince of the Royal Secret". A natural blue diamond weighing 0.52 ct is set in the double-headed eagle. The diamond has a brilliant cut (P). Weight is 11.86 g Top width 14.6 mm, bottom width 7.5 mm Current size is 65-66 / 21 mm / 25-26 /UK: X / US 11 We can adjust it to between 60-68 for €30 Very good condition – original antique ring with a modern, natural diamond.
