Mercedes Benz - 190D 2.5 5 cylinder - 5-speeds - 1986 - Sliding roof

Due to having to compete with BMW, who introduced a number of fast diesel engines in the 3-series and in the 5-series in 1984, Mercedes-Benz replied with the considerably faster 190D 2.5 5 cylinder diesel engine with 90 HP/66kW and a manual 5-speed gearbox. In February 1986, this reliable Mercedes-Benz 190 Series came out of the factory and was delivered to the first Italian owner. This owner did not spare expenses when he was ordering the car’s features: it is among others equipped with power windows and mirrors, metallic lacquer, tow hitch, sliding roof and power steering. The Mercedes-Benz 190 series was a high-quality model that was able to reach extremely high odometer readings provided that it was properly and regularly maintained. The proper condition of the car leads us to assume that it has only driven 269,456 km. The previous owners certainly used this car in a careful manner. Maintenance history absent The engine is virtually free of leakage and is in superb condition. You can probably understand that a 31 year old car of course will have a paintwork damage and/or oxidation spot. We ourselves are very pleased regarding the good condition of especially the interior and regarding the combination of model and features together with what is probably the most popular 2.5 D engine! - MOT valid until 29-06-2018 - Manufacturing year: 24-02-1986 - 269,456 km - 5 cylinder diesel - Colour: grey/brown metallic - Engine and mechanic condition: in good general condition - Body and paintwork condition: in fair condition - Options: Power windows and mirrors, metallic lacquer, tow hitch, sliding roof, power steering, central locking - Transmission: Manual, 5 gears This vehicle can be viewed in Ter Apelkanaal, the Netherlands.
