The work of Czeslaw Zuber, impresses the whole world, in Poland is less appreciated.
Czeslaw Zuber was a glass designer in “Barbara” glasswork in Polanica Zdrój in the second half of 1970s.
In 1982 the artist emigrated from the country and settled in Paris, where he began his adventure with a glass art.
The works of Czeslaw Zuber are recognized by expressive and colourful glass heads.
To create them he uses big and solid blocks made of optical glass, which are produced for the nuclear, defence and aerospace industry.
What distinguishes his work is the drawing and colour.
The artist creates dynamic silhouettes of fairytale animals and rotating figures in glass, and then he fills them with intense colours.
His works are on the shelves of many museums and famous galleries around the world e.g. in the prestigious institutions such as Museum of Art & Design in New York, or in the Kunstmuseum in Düsseldorf.
