Provenance - Collected in Burkina Faso circa 1995 by Australian Artist and collector - John Graham
John Graham has placed tribal art into the following institutions: The National Gallery of Australia in Canberra. The National Gallery of Victoria The Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe And exhibited parts of his collection at Australian Galleries, East and West Art and Kazari in Melbourne, and Nomadic Rug Traders in Sydney. A selection of his collection was displayed at the Melbourne Museum as part of the Community Collections program. He has sold work via domestic and international Auction houses including: Sotheby’s - Australia, Bonham’s - London, Bonham’s - USA Mossgreen - Melbourne, Deutscher and Hackett - Melbourne. And to sold many international dealers and collectors.
