1st half of the 20th century - Good condition
A knife of the Kuba (Ikula) with a hand beaten iron blade. The wooden handle has a nice patina from tribal use. The blade is not cleaned and is in good condition. The handle is inlaid with bits of metal which create a pattern. The 3 different types of inlaid metal, zinc, brass and copper, see pictures, make this knife special.
The full length of this knife is 34.5 cm. The widest section of the blade is 10 cm, weight 414 grams.
