Sterling silver - with silver chain and key - silver dial - English
This large and heavy pocket knife is a beautiful example of a typical English fusee.
The stunning tooled dial stands out and has a unique look.
The silver dial features Roman numerals and a golde flower pattern in the centre and around the edge. The silver of the dial is also tooled, with a scale-like pattern.
The glass has no scratches but there is a stain on the spot where the watchmaker´s sticker used to be.
The sturdy sterling silver case shows little signs of wear, no deep scratches or dents. The hinges work well and the lids close firmly.
The chain-driven fusee movement comes with the original dust lid and runs well. An old fashioned winding key from the same period is included.
The pocket watch is attached to a single strand chain, of which all links are marked as sterling silver.
