Fanny is an extended portrait of a young girl's transition from child to woman. Made over a period of 23 years (1990-2012), the images are at once beautiful in their detail of light and identity, as well as frankly anthropological in their descriptive effect.

Jock Sturges (*1947) is an American photographer, best known for his images of nude adolescents and their families.
His subject are people; his tool a large format camera and his purpose: displaying pure beauty and grace.
He has much photographed at naturist resorts in Northern California and in Montalivet, France.
He is a master at working with his models, the place in the landscape and the use of light, just like David Hamilton or Jacques Bourboulon.
His work has been the subject of controversy in the United States. In 1990, his San Francisco studio was raided by FBI officers and his equipment seized.

    Response by seller

Evaluation incorrecte .
