This is a hand-knotted Turkoman carpet, made of durable, natural materials. The way it is knotted and the diversity in patterns make this carpet unique and emphasise its authentic and artisanal character.
Turkomans are knotted by nomadic tribes living in the USSR and Afghanistan, made from the finest wool of goats or sheep, on a wool warp (bobbin thread). They're good rugs for daily use, with high durability.
This is a used carpet, which has become more beautiful and richer in character due to the natural ageing process.
Measurements: Approx. 192 x 101 cm.
Main colour: Brick.
Cream, orange, eggplant and anthracite.
Clean carpet, wonderful shine, rich abrash (mutually natural colour variations).
