8 day mechanical movement, striking mechanism at gong, full and half hours.

Early French column clock.
Early "Louis Philippe" period style clock, in Palisander with the foot and hood including nicely finished marqeteries by Citroen and Roozenhoud, with floral motifs.
The enamel dial has a bronze gold-plated decorative edge, just like the top rings and bottom of pillars.
The large original gold-plated sling is finished with flowers/grapes and masks + temperature compensation + stamped, three times nr.2 .
Various stamps on the movement: " Mention Honorable S.Marti et Cie ' Romin Paris ' 1391--6.9 .
The dial has enamel damage at the bottom left, should be cleaned, no other flaws, works well.
Measurements: Hg. 45 cm. width 24 cm Dp. 14 cm
Weight: 3640 Grams
