Mechanical - possibly silver
Omega pocket watch, wind-up movement, separate dial for the seconds at 6.
The case in fair condition (it shows it has certainly been used back in its days!) and perfect interior and movement. There is a small bump on the back of the watch (as you can see in photo).
The dial is original, in ceramics, and shows a small crack between the 7 and the 8. It also shows a small chipping where the hand of the seconds is.
The finish of the metal of the case (which is somewhat dull and spongy) suggests it could be made in silver rather than in steel.
However there seem to be no internal markings in the back of the rear lid to certify that.
The serial number should put it around 1914 as year of fabrication.
The movement is impeccable - looks almost as new.
Size is 40 mm, 45 mm with crown, 13 mm thick.
Can be transferred manually, or shipped via courier service at cost. Please note that there will be an addition to the cost indicated because of the insurance (1% of the final price - this cost is based on the adjudication price, so cannot be calculated beforehand).
