18th and 19th centuries - Very nice condition
Lot of 11 very ancient weights in good condition, have a look at the different pictures, taken of each piece on both sides.
The AKAN are a community divided into several subgroups, including the BAULE, the ASHANTI, the AGNI, the FANTI, and the ÉBRIÉ who live in the Southeast of Ivory Coast, in the Southwest of Ghana and in the South of Togo.
Weights were created in the 13th century and remained until the 19th century.
The dimensions are between 1,4 cm and 5 cm for the biggest one.
The width measures between 1,5 cm and 4,3 cm.
Total weight: 284 grams.
