In fact, the current siruation in Afghanistan can only be fully understood with the information gathered, ordered and provided by Hamilton.

Part of a series of 20 volumes, but this is the only one on Afghanistan. Well-written, with lots of details on its history, people, landscape, climate, commerce, etc., etc.

Uncut. Spine with some very light stains, otherwise in very good condition with gilt top edge and original, decorative binding. Clean, without markings. Very uncommon. A lovely volume.
