Very rare educational poster for schools in Bangladesh. This Bengali alphabet (ABC) is, as far as could be verified, where each letter character has a small beautiful image that makes it clear for children which letter it is (like we have A for Ape, etc). At the bottom of the poster the numbers are also clearly visible from 1 to 10 with matching images. School posters and reading cards from Asia are often short-lived because of the climate and the many insects that affect the paper.
At the top side of the wooden bar the paper is damaged here and there. But otherwise in excellent condition.
A decorative piece for of education history that is probably unique for The Netherlands. And a nice acquisition for collectors of ABC books for example. But also for the lover of education history.
