3 x 70cl Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Packaging: In original box
Volume on Label: 70cl

Centuries ago, long before Orkney became part of Scotland, it belonged to a vast Viking Kingdom. Magnus Eunson, who founded Highland Park in 1798, was a direct descendant of those early Viking pioneers who settled in our island home, becoming part of Orkney and part of us, and leaving their mark on our landscape, our culture and our people. Does that shape the character of our whisky? Without a shadow of a doubt.

VIKING HONOUR reflects the unique culture of our remote island home here on Orkney. Part of Scotland yes, but originally belonging to a vast Viking kingdom.
NATURAL CASK-DRIVEN COLOUR
(NO ADDITIVES)
Glowing amber
Average colour tint 12.4
FLAVOURS
Heather honey | Rich fruitcake | Winter spices | Seville oranges | Aromatic smoky peat
TRY WITH…
Haunch of venison, chocolate ginger biscuits, soft cheeses such as French Brie and even Japanese sushi and wasabi (yes, really!)

Named Best Spirit in the World in the Spirit Journal, on two separate occasions, the intense balance of the flavours found in VIKING PRIDE owes everything to our five traditional keystones of production, honoured for over 220 years. Slow-burning, aromatic peat from Hobbister Moor; hand turned floor maltings, Sherry seasoned European oak casks, cool maturation in our temperate island climate and a long and unhurried harmonisation process. Like our founder, Magnus Eunson, we share our Viking ancestors’ commitment to skilled craftsmanship as well as their proud, independent spirit.

NATURAL CASK-DRIVEN COLOUR
(NO ADDITIVES)
Clear, bright, burnished gold
Average colour tint 12.6
FLAVOUR
Cherries | Dark chocolate | Toffee | Marzipan | Heather honey | Aromatic peat smoke
TRY WITH...
Meaty fish like mahi mahi or swordfish cooked with Indian spices (think cardamom and ginger – surprisingly good!), cold meats with ginger chutney, and citrus fruit puddings
