On offer here is a very beautiful oriental carpet - Sarough. The carpet is in very good condition.
Sarough is part of the west-Iranian region of Arak. These carpets originate from Sarough village north of the city of Arak. Saroughs are known for their extraordinarily good quality and beautiful pattern. The pile consists of good durable wool and is higher than average.
The dimensions without fringe are 343 x 255 cm.
