Keshan (or Kashan) is located just north of the centre of Iran.
Kashan is one of the halting-places along the Silk Road.
Characteristic for a Kashan are a wonderfully designed medallion, trees and figurative patterns.

The most common colours are red, blue and beige.
Kashan carpets are durable carpets, made of high-quality wool, often with a rich shine, on a cotton warp (bobbin thread). They are excellent carpets for daily use and have a high durability.
This is a used carpet that has become more beautiful and richer in character due to the natural ageing process.
