This is a hand-knotted Tabriz rug, made of durable, natural materials. Imperfections in the patterns and shape make this rug unique and emphasise its authentic and traditional character.
Tabriz is one of the oldest cities in Iran. Tabriz rugs come with various designs; these carpets often depict old palaces or ruins. The most common colours are beige, blue and red. They are durable, high-quality rugs, often made of fine wool on a cotton warp (bobbin thread). A good Tabriz has a short and rough pile.
Tabriz rugs are excellent rugs for daily use, with high durability.
Later, Tabriz rugs were also made in India, in which case they are called Oriental rugs.
This is a used rug, which has become more beautiful and richer in character due to the natural ageing process.
This carpet was imported from Iran before 2000.
Size: Approx. 327 x 230 cm
Main colour: Red.
Green, camel, cream, coral, salmon and blue shades.
Signed carpet; Lots of nap; Rich shine.

Een 10!!! Top seller! Best shipping and handling. So happy with the beautiful Kesh an carpet! Many thanks!
Heel jammer dat de kwaliteit van het tapijt erg slecht was. Het tapijt lag vol zand en hondenharen, het stonk een uur in de wind. Wel prettig contact gehad met de verkoper hierover.
