VERY RARE, INTERESTING, VINTAGE music instrument - Manufactured by Rolmonica Music Company in 1928 - Inscription on the front: “PATD 11-3-25, other patents pending 6-5-28”
The bakelite body was manufactured in the USA. The harmonica was made in Germany by M. HOHNER.
The instrument sounds the same when you blow or breath in, so you can play it continuously, you don’t need to stop to inhale air.
Its operation to hear the music consists in that after having inserted a roll of paper bored inside, it is blown and sucked through the piece for the mouth that is in the centre, while turning the crank, the air basically goes through the holes that are the ones that determine the notes that will be heard to arrive at a harmonica mounted in the back part.
3 music rolls are included (one is inside).
