The famous painter, engraver, designer of woodcuts, glass-painter and draughtsman. Born and died at Leiden where he worked his entire life. It is probable that he was also the publisher of his own plates. In Antwerp with Dürer around 1521. When he died most of his plates were bought by Martin Petri.
