Philippe Martinery (59 years old) is a recognised artist. Numerous personal exhibitions, mainly in France and Belgium.
For a time he was inspired by the work of Corneille Van Beverloo, whom he knew well for some 30 years. His personal talent, supported by a perfect technique, allows him to treat all subjects with the same happiness. He likes to represent women, naked most of the time, but not only. His bestiary, especially his cats are recognisable and very personal. His varied work never lacks humour, tenderness, softness and happiness.
