Book condition: Markings in pencil to first two pages. Foxing to lower and fore edge, the first few pages, and a few pages at the end. Slight mark to top edge. Slight wear due to shelf worn. All illustrations present and in very good condition. The book is overall a very good, bright, and clean copy. (see photographs).

Book condition: first page has a newspaper clipping stuck onto it from October 26, 1946 about hunting with dogs. Inscription of a name written in ink, slight rip to pages vii /viii slight foxing to the first few pages. Slight wear due to shelf worn.
