Cretaceous (97-90 mio yj) - Kem Kem, Morocco
Very nice and very complete tooth with part of the root, nice color, clear striae on the tooth and nice enamel on the tooth.
The tooth was found In Morocco in 2014.
Since its discovery, Spinosaurus has been a contender for the longest and largest theropod dinosaur - several times these animals were listed as among the most massive theropods in their surveys, at 15 meters (49 ft) in length and upwards of 6 t. The form of its skull indicates that Spinosaurs were animals that ate meat as well as fish. It would have lived in and out the water to eat/rest. This carnivorous animal was larger and bigger then all other meat-eating dinosaurs. These animals had an impressive flag like elongation of the back spines that could be 1.65m long.
