Bronze, 1st half 20th century, in good condition.
Beautiful monastery bell with wall mount that consists of a beautifully decorated wall panel that is connected by two dragon figures with an angel on the front side. The bell itself is very detailed and has the engraving saying “QUI ME TANGIT VOCEM MEAM AUD” (he who touched me, shall hear my voice). All around are ornaments and depictions of Mary with child. The mechanism, with a bronze handle on a chain and a dragon as counterweight, still works perfectly. So when the handle is pulled, the bell will hit the clapper and ring. The bell has a clear and warm sound.
The whole is in working condition, with many beautiful details.
Height: 35 cm (top wall mount to bottom of bell)
Weight ca. 2.3 kg.
Will be packaged with great care and shipped by registered mail by PostNL.
