The M29 Weasel Personnel Carrier was a tracked vehicle designed by Studebaker for operations in mud and snow fitting 15-inch span track links along a basic chassis. The hull superstructure was plain and boxy with a folding windscreen at front and an optional canvas covering over the passenger cabin. The driver was positioned at the front-left with three seats in the rear spanning the width of the hull.
As a tracked vehicle the weasels provided a solid cross-country performance. It saw combat service in mainland Europe including the Italian Campaign.
The engine is the Studebaker Model 6-170 Champion 6-cylinder gasoline.
It delivers 70 bhp (52 KW) at 3,200 rpm. Maximum speed is 36 mph (58 km/hrs.).

This very nice restored vehicle is in very good running condition. It’s built in September 1944 (Hull Nr. 7093) and has its original markings as being used in the war in Europe in 1944 / 1945 as being used as a support vehicle for the 40 Tank Battalion. This Weasel is very original and comes with many correct details. The vehicle was restored in The Netherlands in the nineties. Very good original tracks and road wheels. Almost no cracks. Hull is in near excellent condition for a vehicle from this age. Very good runner!
The weasel is great fun to drive. Due to its dimensions also easy to store and transport.
Engine cover is included.
