Pyu Culture period, 200-1000 CE, Western Myanmar

An extremely rare dyed carnelian bead with a special design from the Pyu Culture period, 200-400 CE, Western Myanmar. Original, hand cut, dyed and carved. The holes are ancient, handmade, irregular, funnel-shaped. Its colour is original, probably enlarged at modern time to make the piece wearable. Nice ancient patina. It has been cleaned in a tumbler from the centuries deposits, so it surface is smooth . In good condition.
L : 13 mm , D : 9 mm Shipping as registered mail-pack.
