Boy doll 38 cm and girl 36 cm. Made around 1915-1920 in Germany. Played-with condition.
2 German celluloid dolls. Marked: K & R 255 Schildpad (without diamond shape) no 2. Celluloid heads with shoulder pad and fabric bodies. The eyes of the boy are not functioning. In the baking edge there’s a round hole, from which 2 small cracks (of about 1 cm). The shoulder piece of the boy is loose on the right side and he has 2 different lower arms, one of celluloid and one of composition. He is wearing old underwear and an old jacket and an old wig. The boy is 38 cm, the girl 36 cm. She has blue sleep eyes, an open mouth with teeth. From the back of the baking edge there’s a small piece missing. She has a stamp on her fabric body: Puppenhaus C. Nagel. Andrews Hamburg and has celluloid lower arms. Clothing and wig of a later date. Including 2 dolls for decoration, a celluloid boy doll of which 3 fingers of his right hand are missing. He is wearing an original old boys outfit, which is stuck to his body.
