Very rare and beautiful 1965 Triumph TR4 Roadster with overdrive from the second owner.

This gorgeous, signal-red Triumph TR4 Roadster (04-1965) was imported from Southern France in 1996, is registered in the Netherlands and has remained in a beautiful, original condition. The Triumph’s paintwork is in good shape and it features overdrive in the 3rd and 4th gear, which is rare.
The Triumph is also fitted with neat spoke rims, hubs, good Vredestein tyres, a new soft-top and tonneau cover, and many new chrome parts, such as a front and rear bumper, a chrome luggage rack and over-riders.
The TR4 has always been perfectly maintained, has its original 2138 cc engine with 105 hp, and is equipped with a lead-free cylinder head.

The Triumph TR4 looks breathtaking, the signal-red paintwork is neat (not new), the spoke rims are beautiful, and the lovely lines make this model and version one of the most beautiful ever supplied. The chrome is in very good condition, the bottom is hard and solid, the rubbers have largely been replaced.
It is equipped with a new soft-top and tonneau cover, stainless steel luggage rack, original yellow headlights, high beams (stainless steel) and club badges + bar on the front.

The interior is very good, the dashboard is sprayed in a signal-red colour, and the clocks and Smiths gauges work properly and are original.
The car has a neat dark-grey carpet set, rubber Triumph mats, neat black door cards and two original and good black leather seats with cream-coloured piping. The Triumph also features a walnut Mota Lita steering wheel.

Features the original 2138 cc engine with 105hp and 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It has a very nice stainless steel exhaust system (mounted new in 2010) good (Vredestein) tyres, new wiper motor, ignition wires, battery and ignition. It has of course fully been checked in our workshop and has had a full overhaul. It runs and drives perfectly and is supplied with a new Dutch General Periodic Inspection (APK).

This 1965 Triumph TR4 offers a unique opportunity for the enthusiast, is in perfect condition, very well-maintained and a true pleasure to drive in.

You are more than welcome to view this TR4 and take it for a test-drive.
