The antique coral necklace is made of 5 strings of a fine salmon red Mediterranean precious coral with the finest design.
The necklace is fastened and unfastened with an oval rolled gold clasp with a fine rose gold design set with a large oval salmon red Sardegna coral cabochon with a beautiful colour and very well preserved shine.
The corals are natural and untreated.

clasp 14.3 x 8.4 mm, coral cabochon 11 x 8 mm,

Very well preserved original item of jewellery from the Biedermeier time around 1830/40, and extraordinary handwork because of the small size of the coral, extremely laborious, therefore, very rare to obtain.
