Mechanical – 8-day movement – Bell strike on whole hours
Very fine and detailed copper skeleton clock under a beautiful glass bell jar. The skeleton clock is in the shape of the Notre Dame of Paris, and was made and signed by Hermle Germany for the Franklin Mint Collection of 1990. The clapper movement strikes a bell on whole hours. The winding key will be included. The bell jar rests on 3 copper supports mounted on the mahogany base. The glass bell jar and this wonderful, copper clock are in top condition, the movement runs very well and on time. Height is 29 cm, diameter is 20.5 cm.

Please note: some elements on this page have been translated automatically. The clock was shown and advertised as from 1978 however it was clearly new. Maybe a reproduction but not 39 years old. It leaves me therefore feeling disappointed and somewhat tricked.
