Ancient Egypt, 1400 B.C.
The ancient Egyptians were great creators of iconography. They used to represent both sculptures and paintings, looking for the preservation of their image as well as their names.
The sculptural representation was one of the most selected since it was not accessible to the entire population.
This sculptural piece, done in granite stone is very selective since granite is a stone with magical solar connotations. This is why the character represented indicates that was the chosen one.
In regards to the representation, we find that the character is wearing a dense wig topped by an uraeus or royal cobra, which indicates his royal position as a Pharaoh of powerful person.
His face is archaic and sympathetic, with very well preserved traits.
