Weight: 6.30 g/Diameter: 19 mm.

Obverse: head of Alexander the Great with partial oxidisation.

Reverse: Gorytos and inset "lion head" mark, BASILEOS, club of Heracles, torch;

Point of interest: the "lion head" mark, in this case inset on the surface of the gorytos, is typical of the coins of Lysimachus. This coin was most probably released during the occupation of Ephesus by General Lysimachus around 300 BC;

Origin: duly purchased at a major German numismatics shop. Documentation available on request;
