Head of the King facing, right side with the year underneath. Along border: VICTORIUS EMANVEL II D • G • REX SARD • CYP • ET HIER • At the base of the head there is the mark of the engraver (F • per Ferraris).
Coat of arms with Sabauda cross stamped with Corona Reale and decorated with the collar of the Announcement between laurel wreaths. Along the edge: DVX SAB • GENVAE ET MONTISF • PRINC • PED • &. At the bottom, from left to right, signs of the mint and indication of the value (L • 2).
Sign of Turin mint, "B" impressed inside a shield with an eagles head.
Edge: FERT three times between love knots and rosettes.
