This poster was chosen to advertise the exhibition of Serrano's erotic pictures. This exhibition took place in the Groninger museum on 23 February 1997 to 19 May 1997. The poster was condemned by some conservative groups in Netherlands and was ordered by the judge banned from the streets. 90.000 visitors were attracted to the exhibition by all of the publicity. Due to all of the controversy surrounding the poster, was taken out of circulation and is quite rare. This is one of the posters that has hung in the city of Groningen. As a result this has caused the majority of signs of wear.
