Giuseppe Casciaro (Ortelle, 9 March 1863 – Naples, 25 October 1941) was an Italian painter. He attended the art studios of Domenico Morelli and Filippo Palizzi.
He was essentially a landscape painter and often portrayed subjects especially around Naples, Irpinia (Nusco) and Puglia.
He had friendships with some of the best Neapolitan painters of the period, such as Francesco Paolo Michetti, Eduardo Dalbono, Francesco Mancini, Attilio Pratella. He exhibited his works both in Italy and abroad and worked, in the early 1900s, also for the known Parisian dealer Goupil.
In 1899, he participated in the III International exhibition of art in Venice. He was an Honorary Professor of the Academy of fine arts of Naples, Urbino and
Bologna. Well known for his private collection and art collection, which was then lost.
