This MAUTHE MONET clock with alarm, is really extraordinary, it is made from a really beautiful burr walnut, with sides covered in 800 silver (visible hallmarks). The handmade base is also in burr walnut, the edge is curled for a touch of elegance. The silver is lovely and has been beautifully tooled. The mechanism works very well, as does the alarm. The dial frame is nickel-plated and perfect, the hour markers and hands are silver-plated. The clock has no missing or broken parts. There are a few small displacements of the wood, and very slight signs of age and use related wear that one finds with antiques.
